Business Studies

Business Studies is a subject that can be chosen by students to study in years 10 and 11 at GCSE level. The subject is taught in two sessions per week for two years, during which time the students learn about such subjects as Marketing, Production, Accounting and the Economy etc.

The Business Studies lessons take place in one of the well-equipped ICT suites, with a ratio of 1:1 pupil to PC. Information Technology is used throughout the course as a tool, not only to enhance the presentation of the work produced, but also to impress upon the students the importance of ICT within the business world.
