German exchange: Winchester - Lubeck 2010-2011
Westgate to Germany: Tuesday 17th May until Monday 23rd May 2011
Germany to Westgate: Tuesday 29th March until Monday 4th April 2011
Exchanges with this partner school have been running for over 20 years and therefore are now very well established and enjoyed by all parties concerned. German students are hosted by families in Winchester and we expect German parents to reciprocate the arrangement. In the past English pupils have visited Lübeck, Luneberg and Hamburg, as well as spending a day doing a 'go Ape' activitiy with partners - good fun is always had by all.
Many pupils have kept in touch with their German partners over the years. They have developed long lasting friendships and many are now sharing holidays both in Germany and the UK. This is a lifetime opportunity as living with a German family will give you a real insight into the German way of life as well as an authentic view of what German culture is all about.
