Madrid Trip - open to year 9 pupils studying Spanish

This trip is a great opportunity for those studying Spanish as it offers both an opportunity to practise language and is a fantastic cultural experience.

Madrid is often considered the European “capital of joy and contentment” and is the capital city of Spain. Although the city is a dynamic business center, Madrileños clearly enjoy life. Madrid is a city of passion and drama, from the mournful beauty of flamenco to the intense baile of matador and bull.

While in Madrid, pupils will be taken on a full tour of the city taking in sites such as; the Grand Vía, Plaza de España, Templo de Debod, and La Puerta del Sol, as well as visiting the world famous Real Madrid Football Stadium and enjoying a full day excursion to Warner Bros Movie World.
