RED NOSE DAY
Fancy Dress Friday
On Friday 18th March Wesgate pupils and staff alike joined in the dressing up fun and raised over £1200 for Help for Heroes and the PSA. The school was full of weird and the wonderful as people embraced the super hero theme.
"We had so much fun and it was great to see all our teachers making an effort too. I really enjoyed walking around in a tiger 'onesie' (Onesie woman get it?). It was the most comfortable day at school ...ever!" Karina Bedford and Claudia Judd, Year 10
Other events that raised money included : Mr Packer's comic sale which raised £184 and a cake sale that raised £77.
Mrs Mellor would like to say a big thank you to all staff and pupils who got involved in the fun and helped some very worthy causes in the process.
