Humanities Club
Humanities Club is run for people who want to expand their knowledge in Humanities in a fun and interesting way. It runs on Wednesday lunchtimes in Room 12 and is open to pupils from all age groups.
The club is run by Years 10 and 11 pupils who allow trips and activities to be arranged by popular vote. Themes will be set each terms from which activities will be devised. Previous themes include foods from around the world, and the history of sitcoms.
This term the theme is BRITAIN, covering aspects from British food to holding a mock parliamentary debate.
After Easter, the focus will be Chocolate! The group will run activities ranging from chocolate tasting and designing new products, to discovering the complex history of everyone's favourite treat!
The club often involves quizzes, and members putting on sketches depicting historical events, which are very entertaining and amusing.
