E-Resources

In addition to Searchstar, there are four e-resources ( to access these resources logon to the VLE and click on 'Library' and then 'E-Resources') available to help support pupil learning. They are Oxford Reference Online (dictionaries, thesauruses, quotations, maps etc); The Guardian and Observer Digital Archive (archives for the Guardian from 1891-2000 and the Observer from 1791-2000); -Chalk (a collection of educational activities, games, and quizzes with a focus on learning through fun ); and Scran (a database with over 360,000 safe images, movies and sounds from museumsn, galleries and the media).
