Our physical education programme has been developed to provide a solid foundation for a life of activity and challenge.
The Westgate School has gained the prestigious Sportsmark Award. This has been awarded for the quality of our physical education provision and recognises the breadth and balance of sports within the curriculum, as well as the wide range of extra-curricular opportunities for all pupils across the school.
The Westgate School has an excellent reputation for the range and quality of its sporting activities and we have individuals and teams achieving outstanding success at county and national level.
