Gymnastics and Trampolining

We have a group of talented gymnasts that train twice a week with Miss Pompa and Mrs Fyvie-Ray of a mixed ability that practise each week to try something new. They use these skills together as a group and perform at gymnastic competitions in the local area. Two teams made it through to the National Finals last year, which is great for some pupils who do not take part in gymnastics outside of school.

Ex pupil Sian Wilkinson from took part in the Maia International Acro Cup 2011 in Portugal where she successfully qualified as part of a trio for the final of the Womens Age Group. In the final, Sian's trio improved on their qualifying place to finish 7^th. In addition, Frances Lawrence also competed as part of a trio in the same category and finished 10th in the final.

We encourage both boys and girls to come and have a go as it is really enjoyable. For more details please see Miss Pompa.
