This exceptional and outstanding school is seeking to appoint a leader with proven experience in whole school leadership who is optimistic, self-disciplined and professionally generous in their approach. The successful candidate will be working alongside a team of highly skilled and professional colleagues from Year R through to Year 11 in Hampshire’s first, all-through school. A strong commitment to professional learning and engagement in developing educational practice is essential for this role.


The Deputy Headteacher will be responsible for the day-to-day operational needs of the school as well as working alongside the Headteacher in leading and shaping Hampshire’s first all-through school on the next stage of its journey. This presents a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to develop their expertise in readiness for headship and in the context of a unique and highly successful community of learning.


Specific roles and responsibilities will be finalised on appointment but will include accountability for:


  • Strategic leadership and practice of Quality Inclusive Teaching all-through

  • Framework for Professional Learning (Performance Management and IPP)

  • Quality Assurance all-through

  • Professional Learning including ITT, ECT and New Colleague Induction

  • Specified areas of curriculum leadership.
