Westgate hosted the KS 3 county schools badminton competition today - and it was a masterclass from our KS3 boys team; 25 games won, 0 lost, and the newly crowned schools county champions. Well done boys!

Year 10 enjoyed creating a range of fish dishes using the wild salmon donation from fish hero's. Dishes ranged from sushi to pasta and salmon katsu curry to risotto. Thank you @HeroesFish for this opportunity. #FishHeroes
Congratulations to Medi, Aimee, Neve and Emily who played for the Hampshire Girls U18 rugby squad against Surrey, Sussex and Kent. The remarkable thing is that these girls are all U16s but competing predominantly with and against Sixth formers.

Over the last few weeks, Year 8 Food Preparation and Nutrition pupils have been designing their own sponge tartlets - think Bakewell tarts but with new and innovative flavour combinations. Today they got to make these a reality and we have had a fantastic array of ideas come to life including lemon, pistachio and courgette, chocolate orange and almond, biscoff and caramel, and mint chocolate.
