Mrs Fyvie-Rae

My name is Mrs Fyvie-Rae.  It is a pleasure to support our pupils, alongside Mrs Pearson, as they make the transition into year 7.  Year 7 is an incredibly important year, as pupils come together into our community and get to know each other and the school. 

We have a fantastic, thorough transition programme that starts in the May of Year 6 and continues into the Autumn term of year 7.  The transition programme focus' on pupils developing their confidence and building relationships with key colleagues in school and eventually with the peers in their tutor group. Our core themes of Be Kind, Be Respectful and Be Responsible are at the centre of everything we do.

For parents, there will be opportunities to attend Partners in Learning events and Parents' Evenings, from which you will receive information around your child’s progress and guidance on how to support them in their learning. ​I look forward, once again in supporting your child on the next part of their education journey. ​​ Good partnership and communications remain key, so please do not hesitate to contact your child's tutor using contact@westgate.hants.sch.uk to raise any questions. questions or issues.
