The Westgate School is very pleased to once again be one of the top performing schools in Hampshire for attainment. This year’s Attainment 8 (A8) score is 59.7—the second highest of all state schools in the county, with the highest being 59.8.
The A8 is a measure of the eight highest GCSE grades from a balanced and broad range of academic subjects, with additional weighting for English and Maths.
This achievement is a result of our pupils’ hard work and the excellent support they have received from their teachers. We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the collaborative effort that has led to such impressive outcomes.
